“Pierce Couch partner Jeffrey Hendrickson recently wrote an article for the Spring 2023 edition of the USLAW magazine discussing the impact of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act on state peer-review privilege. The article discusses how medical facilities that register and comply with the PSQIA can assert a type of document privilege that, in some instances, is more expansive than that which can be asserted under state law.
