Two New Associates Join Pierce Couch

Pierce Couch is happy to announce that two new associates have joined the firm’s Oklahoma City office:

 
 

Addi Book focuses on litigation matters, including drafting, preparing, and reviewing motions and pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery matters, presenting witnesses for and taking depositions, and other items. Her experience also includes conducting legal research on various matters, including medical malpractice, medical licensing, and professional negligence. Addi received her J.D. at the University of Oklahoma, where she competed on OU’s National Trial Team. She was a Whitten Burrage Negotiation Competition Semi-Finalist in 2019 and in 2021, and a Board of Advocates Moot Court semi-finalist in 2021. Addi was a member of the American Bar Association Health Law Section and was chosen to attend the American Health Lawyers Conference in 2021.

James Crawford focuses on litigation matters, including drafting, preparing, and reviewing motions and pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery matters, presenting witnesses for and taking depositions, and other items. His experience also includes conducting legal research on various matters, including civil rights, complex tort litigation, construction, premises liability, products liability, and transportation. James received his J.D. at the University of Oklahoma, College of law, where he was a named to the Dean’s List on several occasions and received an AmJur in Torts II. He was an assistant executive editor for the American Indian Law Review and named Editor of the Year for the American Indian Law Review in 2022. He also had his comment The Continued Persecution of the Kurdish People in Turkey published in Volume 45 of the American Indian Law Review. James was also named a Dean’s Leadership Fellow and was a recipient of the Dean’s Leadership scholarship.
