Jason is from Hominy, Oklahoma (Osage County), and he currently resides in Norman, Oklahoma, with his wife and children.
Jason is an experienced plaintiff and defense attorney in a wide variety of civil litigation matters including: motor vehicle accidents, product liability, premises liability, construction defect cases, employer liability claims, arson/SIU investigations, medical malpractice, homeowners association matters, insurance coverage opinions and declaratory actions, as well as wills, trusts, estates, and probate matters.
Jason is actively involved in the community through the Boy Scouts of America, and was Cubmaster for over a decade of one of Oklahoma’s largest Cub Scout Packs (100+ youth members annually), and he has been awarded Cubmaster of the Year. He is also an active Freemason, under the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma, and various appendant bodies, including receiving the designation of Knight Commander of the Court of Honor (KCCH) under the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (Southern Jurisdiction).
In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, spending time in the outdoors (hiking, camping, and kayaking), traveling, and playing the guitar.

Jason has taught continuing education courses to numerous insurance companies in subrogation strategy, subrogation techniques, claims investigation and handling techniques, spoliation and preservation of evidence concerns, as well as pre-litigation and active litigation strategy.
Jason has also been a speaker at the annual Oklahoma International Association of Arson Investigator’s (IAAI) annual conference regarding fire risks associated with Corrugated Stainless-Steel Tubing (CSST), as well as fire risks associated with radiant barriers in homes.

Representative Appellate Cases:
Villages at Coffee Creek Community Association, Inc. vs. Rita M. Miller vs. Larry Patterson; Kurt Pitzer, Paul Moore- Supreme Court of Oklahoma Case: 118906.
Result: Upheld a Successful Defense Motion for Summary Judgment Dismissing the Third Party Defendants, which comprised the Homeowners Association’s Architectural Review Board.
Rachel Martin vs. David Dunkel, Justin Swanner, Mason Haley, McCollom Family Partnership, Collegetown Realostate, LLC- Supreme Court of Oklahoma Case: SD-119442.
Result: Upheld a Successful Defense Motion for Summary Judgment Dismissing the Plaintiff’s premises liability claims against tenant (Swanner), for allegedly allowing underage (then 19) Plaintiff to consume alcohol on the premises, and for injuries sustained while she was attempting to urinate outside of the premises next to a detached garage.
Stephanie Dodd vs. Good Shepherd Lutheran School, Guideone Mutual Insurance Co., and the Workers’ Compensation Commission- Supreme Court of Oklahoma Case: 118822.
Result: Upheld a Successful Defense of a Workers Compensation claim, after a panel of Administrative Law Judges returned a verdict in favor of the Defense/Respondents.
