Hanna McDonald was born and raised in Yukon, Oklahoma. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Southern Nazarene University. After completing her undergraduate studies, Hanna worked in the legal field for two years before attending Oklahoma City University School of Law.

During her time at OCU, Hanna served as a member of Law Review and was a member of the Organization for the Advanced of Women in Law. Prior to joining Pierce Couch, Hanna served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Sharon Byers and worked as a legal intern for the Canadian County District Attorneys.
