Daylan was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Ponca City where he graduated high school. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2022 with a B.S. in Theology. The following fall he began law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law. While there, he obtained a limited license to practice law and worked at Pierce Couch as a licensed legal intern. He graduated with his J.D. in 2025.

Daylan lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Cassidy. They enjoy traveling, rooting for the Thunder, and going to the movie theater.
