Amy was born in Morristown, New Jersey, on February 4, 1969. She is married to Carey Waters, a family physician. They have two daughters, Paige, and Emma.

Prior to joining Pierce Couch Hendrickson Baysinger & Green, LLP, Amy worked as a Litigation Attorney for Shelter Mutual Insurance Company in Columbia, Missouri, and practiced insurance defense litigation with two other Tulsa firms. Amy joined Pierce Couch Hendrickson Baysinger & Green in 2012 and was made a partner in 2015

Amy obtained her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2002, and is a current member and past president of the Northeastern Oklahoma CPCU Society Chapter.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and long distance running.
