Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 24, 1938. Hugh is married to Nancy B. (Wheat) Baysinger. Nancy is a music Educator and licensed Kindermusik teacher. Hugh attended Paseo High School, graduated in 1956 and was elected student Mayor of Kansas City the same year. He was very active in Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He began his practice with the predecessor firm of Pierce Duncan Couch & Hendrickson in 1966 and was made a partner in 1974.
